The work required careful planning, detailed site logistics, and a rigorous safety program to ensure that disruptions to the University’s ongoing operations were minimized. In his role, Mr. Kaufman manages the company’s team of talented and hard-working estimators with a philosophy that prioritizes collaboration, accountability, and, most importantly, deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of a project. The work consisted of demolishing existing offices and associated equipment to make way for new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure required to support the new lab facility. The architectural fit-out of the space included all new laboratory casework with integral plumbing fixtures and a separate specially constructed room to house the expansive laboratory freezers.
