Cauldwell Wingate was awarded by the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center (WHMC), to serve as the General Contractor for the construction of six (6) new isolation rooms. These rooms will include new headwalls, bathrooms and isolated HVAC systems allowing WHMC to provide premium care for high risk patients. The work is taking place in highly sensitive areas such as the intensive care unit requiring a high level of Infectious Control Protection adding to an already difficult and complicated job. Cauldwell Wingate was also awarded a project at the same facility to install a new QleanAir containment unit for their Pharmacy, which will provide the hospital with a completely controlled cleanroom solution for their pharmaceutical needs. These projects are first steps WHMC is taking to make itself one of New York’s premier healthcare facilities.
