Cauldwell Wingate, acted as the Construction Manager for a state-of-the-art research imaging facility located on the City College campus in Upper Manhattan. The facility was a collaborative project among nine prestigious biomedical research institutions. It houses a Cryogenic Electron Microscope suite, laboratories, administrative offices, and advanced NMR spectroscopy instruments. We successfully addressed the challenge of shielding sensitive instruments by strategically locating the center and creating vacuum-like spaces. In addition to overseeing construction, we provided comprehensive pre-construction services in collaboration with the design team.
