Cauldwell Wingate acted as the General Contractor for NewYork-Presbyterian’s phased pharmacy project at their Midtown Campus at E. 68th Street. The project included four individually phased pharmacies totaling approximately 4,000sf. Each pharmacy needed to be turned over in 2 months’ time or less. Work included pneumatic tube systems for transport of materials, clean room construction for drug compounding and pass-through windows for patient transactions. Due to design issues, Day 2 work associated with making the space 797 Code compliant, such as building anteroom spaces, is currently being scheduled.
