New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health
Cauldwell Wingate was engaged as the General Contractor for the build-out of the Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health on the Weill Cornell Campus. The Center specializes in gastrointestinal cancers, including esophageal, liver, gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, small intestine, and colon cancers. The Monahan Center offers state-of-the-art research, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and education. The new layout consisted of examination rooms, education areas, and doctors’ offices. The high-end design called for custom linear wood Planx ceilings, bamboo wood floors, custom metal and glass partitions, custom millwork counters, and reception desk.
