CUMC retained Cauldwell Wingate as Construction Manager for ColumbiaDoctors’ ambitious, full-floor relocation project. The 85,000 sf space required full demolition and MEPS upgrades in order to accommodate a program of specialty medical practices. Equipment needs included two MRIs with associated shielding and floor reinforcement, PET/CT, and radiology, dental, and audiology specialty equipment. Situated in the heart of Midtown, the project required extensive logistical planning and precise execution. Cauldwell Wingate also worked with Columbia Doctors as they pursued LEED Gold accreditation.
