Phase I required the construction of temporary science laboratories to accommodate programming requirements while the new labs were under construction. Phase II of the project included the gut-renovation of existing lab spaces, including new laboratory millwork, gas and water hookups, showers, and emergency eyewash areas. In addition, the laboratories were outfitted with new exteriors windows and casings. Protection and safety programs were designed to accommodate working in an occupied setting, and all work was coordinated with school officials to minimize disruptions to ongoing school operations.
