Cauldwell Wingate provided construction management services for the restoration of the Landmark Tiffany & Company building on Fifth Avenue. This magnificent architectural gem is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and required comprehensive historic restoration services to the marble facade and lobby.
Cauldwell Wingate provided core and shell construction services for one of New York's landmarks, the Chanin Building, located in the heart of the City's Grand Central district. The work included the installation of new chillers, core building construction of 30 base building mechanical rooms, restoration of the landmark exterior facade, including the replacement of all deteriorated terra-cotta and lintels. In addition, the Cauldwell Wingate team completed electrical upgrades including the installation of new switchgears, renovation of the main Con Ed electrical switchgear room and reinforcing of all electrical services off both the Lexington Avenue and 41st Street sides of the property. An entire Time-of-Day (TOD) electronic demand sub-metering system was also installed.
