Cauldwell Wingate was construction manager for the major renovation of the New York University Law School building located on Washington Square South in Greenwich Village. The project was completed on a fast-track, 10-week schedule during the Law School’s summer recess. The project’s MEPS program required the demolition and removal of most of the 5-story building’s air handling units. In addition, corridor work included the removal of existing sheetrock ceilings and the installation of a new pocketed ceiling design with pendent lighting.
Cauldwell Wingate provided general contracting services for the 8-week renovation of the Hewitt and Sulzberger dormitories at Barnard College. The project included fast-track bathroom renovations, upgrades to the domestic water systems and improvements to dormitory rooms and corridors, all within the College's tight project schedule.
Cauldwell Wingate completed the full demolition and reconstruction of 30,000 square feet of office space for the faculty and administration of New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. The building, located in a landmarked district, required that all plans be submitted for prior approval and permits. Construction included all mechanical and electrical infrastructure, partitions and high-end millwork office fronts and reception areas. This was an 8-week multi-phase project.

Cauldwell Wingate has been engaged as the construction manager for a school and cultural center renovation project for the Islamic Cultural Center, part of a comprehensive redevelopment project including the modification of the organization’s current mosque located on the Upper East Side. The project consists of the interior fit-out of 70,000 square feet (ground floor and second floor) for use as a cultural center, religious school and associated administrative offices.
