A leading toy design manufacturer that produces products like
Monopoly, Mr. Potato Head and Scrabble hired Cauldwell Wingate to manage a renovation of marrying two adjacent buildings located at 28 and 32 West 23rd Street. Hasbro, Inc.’s headquarters was once used as retail space and is now interactive exhibit space visited by more than 1,000 people per day. The project included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression and fire life safety systems upgrades and resulted in a major improvement in MEP requirements. The building now includes office space for more than one hundred Hasbro employees, three theaters, a board room, press room and a 10,000 square foot mezzanine level that separates visitor traffic from employees.
Cauldwell Wingate served as general contractor for a fast-paced gut renovation and construction project in the Colgate Palmolive building at 300 Park Avenue. The 15-week project required the renovation of executive and staff offices, pantry and reception areas, conference facilities and trading desks. The Cauldwell Wingate team also installed new mechanical and electrical systems, voice and data riser and a new staircase system connecting two floors.
Cauldwell Wingate served as general contractor for the build-out of high luxury showrooms and executive office space for Kellwood
Menswear, a leading marketer of apparel and consumer goods. The innovative project consisted of a full-floor renovation, installation of new mechanical and electrical systems, executing the design of project architect, The Switzer Group. Project highlights included an open finished concrete slab ceiling, a flat oval duct HVAC distribution system throughout the showroom areas and a high-tech architectural lighting package
Cauldwell Wingate served as construction manager for a two-story, high-end office build-out project on behalf of Spencer Stuart, a well known executive search firm located at 277 Park Avenue. The 40,000 square foot project included the consolidation and expansion of corporate offices with complex conference and audio visual systems as the client expanded its existing one-floor office space within the building and brought additional personnel into the building from another office location. The complex, fast-track assignment included the construction of an inter-communicating staircase with finishes including stone, metal, glass and wood detailing. The space was designed with numerous high-end finishes and design details including stone walls and floors, Acme metal and glass partitions and wood paneling in several areas. The project, completed on a tight, four-month schedule, also included a full mechanical system upgrade, new sprinkler system as well as new core toilets and ADA bathroom facilities.
